Peter Lewys Preston is a German actor with Slovenian and American roots who grew up in Swabia, speaking English, German and Swabian. After forteen years of piano training he studied acting and singing at the Shenandoah University in Virginia, and at the Bavarian Theatre Academie August Everding in Munich, which he graduated summa cum laude.

Peter Lewys Preston works in Film and Television. In 2015 he had his debut on the silver screen with MY BLIND DATE WITH LIFE by Director Marc Rothemund. Since then he has been working with director Nikolaus von Stein for the period drama LOUIS VAN BEETHOVEN playing one of the leads, and JACOB & WILHELM directed by Jan Radermacher. With the Sitcoms STRAIGHT UP BERLIN by director Jirko Krah, and CATHÉRINE by Franziska Meyer-Price he showed his talent for comedy.

In 2020 Lewys Preston is shooting the ZDF series BLUTIGE ANFÄNGER directed by Irina Popow and STORM OF LOVE for ARD.

Peter is also working as a singer, composer and music producer.

He won the "Bundeswettbewerb Gesang" two times in a row, received awards from "Jugend kulturell" and the "Deutsche Musikrat", got awarded for his composition REACHING FOR HEAVEN and was nominated Best Actor by the German Musical Theatre Academy.
 

As Voice Over artist and Singer he has been working for DreamWorks  Animation, Netflix, Amazon Prime, und Apple TV+.
